What do I need to do if I am a guest?

Ok you want more details… You will have been previously contacted by the show appear as a guest at some point in the future. The topic is generally of your chossing for the podcast and or by agreement to have you as a guest talking about a topic you know and love.

Once you have been contacted and all the items are agreed a date will be set in which both yourslef and the host are free.

90% of the time the recording of the Podcast is remote, host and guest join via Riverside. However, in person podcasts will also occur from time to time.

How do we record the Podcast?

We use an application called Riverside, now the show is audio only no video and unlike other platforms that save your recordings directly to the cloud, Riverside saves it on your device first. This helps maintain recording quality regardless of internet connection.

Do I need to be at a laptop /PC to make this work?

Riverside use the browsers - Edge and Chrome for recordings. You will receive a link in an email similar to https://riverside.fm/studio/james-rivers-studio in which you can join the session.

Can I record this on my Cell phone instead?
